Join us at UK Operation Christmas, a journey of compassion bringing festive cheer to children in need across the UK. Together, let’s light up their holiday season, one Christmas hamper at a time
At the Living Joy Foundation, our mission through UK Operation Christmas is to envelop every child experiencing poverty in the UK in the warmth and joy of the festive season. We believe that no child should be deprived of the happiness of Christmas. Each hamper we deliver, brimming with nutritious food and a thoughtful gift, carries more than festive nourishment; it brings a message of hope, care, and community solidarity.
This initiative extends beyond a seasonal gesture; it’s a commitment to ensure that children, reliant on free school meals during term time, are not forgotten during the holidays. Our vision is to expand our reach each year, collaborating with primary schools to identify and support families in need.

Since its establishment in 2017, UK Operation Christmas has been a symbol of hope, spreading festive joy to underprivileged children throughout the UK. The project began with 50 families and has experienced exponential growth, reaching 100 families in 2018, 150 families in 2019, and now supporting up to 200 families in 2022.
This year, in 2023, our goal is to impact the lives of 300 families by providing them with Christmas hampers filled with food and gifts. Our growth journey reflects the collective effort and generosity of our community, volunteers, and partners.
As we look to the future, our mission continues to evolve. We are dedicated to expanding our reach and impact, ensuring no child is left without joy and celebration during Christmas. The story of UK Operation Christmas is one of hope, community spirit, and the unwavering belief that we can make a significant difference in the lives of children facing poverty. Our efforts go beyond the festive season, aiming to bring lasting smiles and create cherished memories for children and their families.
“Our journey began in 2017, touching the lives of 50 families from 10 different primary schools in the UK. It was a small start, but the gratitude and smiles it brought were immense.”
“In 2018 & 2019, our reach doubled. We were able to bring Christmas joy to 100 families, ensuring that more children could enjoy the festive season without worry.”
“By 2019, our efforts expanded further to support 150 families from 15 UK schools. This year, with your help, we are aiming to bring cheer to 300 families.”
